The author intends to dissolve the affiliation between the body and the washing machine in daily life, and construct a new context: to establish a new way of viewing and interpreting the washing machine through relationship reorganization.
It makes the waste washing machine avoid the destination of the garbage dump, and turns from garbage into art. The spatial composition relationship formed by it gives people a sense of religious ceremony, thus making the waste washing machine sacred and solemn.
The author disassembles the washing machine into individual parts and hangs them in the air. A projector is installed in the inner tub of the washing machine to project a video with a concept on the table directly below. The table is covered with all kinds of screws, rust and dirt from the washing machine.
The video
The film focuses on the work of the washing machine, interspersed with the daily life related to the washing machine, and is presented in the way of stream of consciousness.
These include hand-washing, accelerated traffic, and snippets of urban life, as well as discarded appliances, e-waste dumps, and pictures of old furniture and appliances that evoke memories.
